Job Overview

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment, and workspaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and methods
- Maintain high standards of sanitation in food processing and manufacturing environments
- Assist with the sanitation of machinery, tools, and surfaces to meet health and safety regulations
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces
- Use heavy lifting techniques when moving supplies or equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent contamination or accidents
- Document sanitation activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures in food production or manufacturing environments is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
