Position Summary

The To Go Server at Pepperoni Grill is responsible for delivering a smooth and efficient takeout experience for our guests. This role ensures orders are accurate, properly packaged, and ready on time while providing friendly, professional service to guests picking up food.
To Go Servers serve as an important link between the kitchen and our guests, maintaining clear communication, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to ensure every order reflects the quality Pepperoni Grill is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process takeout orders through phone, online platforms, and in-person requests
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and confirm order details with guests
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time
• Package food carefully to maintain quality, temperature, and presentation
• Verify order accuracy before handing off to guests or delivery drivers
• Provide friendly and professional service during guest pickup
• Answer questions about menu items, specials, and order timing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked To Go station
• Process payments accurately and provide receipts when needed
• Assist with opening, running, and closing side work as assigned
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines

Teamwork & Communication

• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and managers regarding order timing and accuracy
• Work with servers and hosts to maintain smooth restaurant flow during busy periods
• Notify managers immediately of any guest concerns or order issues
• Support teammates when needed to ensure overall service quality

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using POS systems
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with third-party delivery platforms
