The Maintenance Worker - Janitorial is responsible for upholding the safety and appearance of the physical location of a QSAC facility.This is a Full Time (FT) Maintenance Worker - Janitorial opportunity.The salary range for this position is $16.50-$20.00 an hour.Driver license highly preferred. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Building MaintenanceResponsibilities include, but limited to, cleaning bathrooms/kitchen, mopping, sweeping, and/or vacuuming floors, Hygienic cleaning, and garbage collection and removal.Maintain cleanliness throughout facilities, completing assigned checklists that include daily, weekly, and monthly detailAdhere to building/maintenance/codes to ensure health, safety & welfare of facilities, individual and employeesPrioritize work to complete time sensitive issues first.Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and use responsibly.Demonstrate safety and care of equipment and supplies to protect from damage and theft.Complete projects including moving furniture, deliveries, painting, plastering, etc. in an efficient and timely manner.Work independently in the building, staying focused on assigned tasks and priorities.Report for QSAC events for preparation & breakdown as needed. May include weekend & eveningsCommitment to company values, adherence to policies, and maintain individual/family confidentialityAttendance and punctuality is essential.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.Policies & CommunicationUtilize troubleshooting skills to determine best way to fix problems and communicate delays or emergency reassignments to supervisorRespond promptly to program needs throughout facilityIdentify problems in the facility and inform supervisor as soon as they are discoveredWork independently in the building, staying focused on assigned tasks and prioritiesReport to work for snow removal as neededMaintain family and individual confidentialityQualifications & Work Experience High school diploma/GED, requiredReferences required Must have 1-2 years’ general maintenance and facility cleaning skillsDrivers license highly preferred Requires the ability to read, write and communicate effectively with othersAttendance and punctuality is essentialCollaboration and flexibility is expectedCommitment to company values and adherence to policiesThis description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis.
