The salary range for the position is $60,000 - $65,000 Annually

NOTE : This is not a remote or hybrid position. 

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance/Staff Trainer assists with coordinating, developing and facilitating required trainings and general professional development trainings. Ensures compliance with regulations through ongoing staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct agency wide trainings, including Orientation, SCIP-R, First-Aid/CPR, OSHA, CPI-2, Individual’s
  • Rights, Abuse/Neglect/Incident Reporting, Compliance and Sexual Harassment.
  • Participant in the development, presentation and tracking of OPWDD and other required training.
  • Participate in coordination and scheduling trainings agency wide.
  • Maintain current training certifications.
  • Maintain/generate online training records and ensure accuracy as needed.
  • Work with Quality Assurance team to meet OPWDD regulation changes and make necessary agency
    policy adjustments.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance is expected.
  • Maintain individual/family confidentiality.
  • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Extensive training experience and knowledge of OPWDD programs/services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Service Field preferred.
  • Strong use of PowerPoint and/or similar programs and tools.
  • Strong presence and facilitation skills to deliver trainings to staff of various organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and effectively.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to shifting agency needs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with colleagues.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to handle multiple and simultaneous tasks and know how to prioritize and communicate changes
    early and often.
