What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Global Security (NJUS) position at QS Security Services LLC?
Purpose of Position
The Managerr, Global Security has high visibility and direct responsibility for the effective and efficient operations of an in-house Security Guard Force, including report generation, incident monitoring/response, communications, education, and vulnerability management. Additionally, the position will be responsible for driving process refinement and implementation, project management, cross-team/discipline collaboration, maintenance of internal and external stakeholder relationships, and direct supervision of the Security Guard Force.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- rovide leadership and daily management of security personnel, including the Secuirty Officers (guard force).
- Identify, develop, implement, and maintain security standard operating procedures and strategies across all operating units to reduce security-related risks.
- Manage and maintain all training records for Global Security Officers, to include the entire Global Security team.
- Manage, develop and maintain relationships with emergency responders which includes, but is not limited to, Federal, State and local law enforcement, fire specialists, and medical first care providers.
- Partner with Security Crisis management, the Director Global Security and Facility Managers to supplement a robust crisis management process and work with agencies to develop business contingency/continuity plans for emergency.
- Coordinate and implement site security operations to ensure the safety of all Team Members and the protection of information assets.
- Provide emergency and non-emergency security system monitoring, event dispatch, and emergency notification services.
- Provide briefings to the Vice President of Security on the status of security issues impacting operations and integrate into the business units’ operations within NetJets and other Berkshire Hathaway entities.
- Support corporate international travelers’ program.
- Assist with investigations to identify travel risks within specific geographic locations.
- Conduct risk and security assessments at NetJets exclusive use facilities and other Berkshire Hathaway entities.
- Represent and employ NetJets’s 20/20 Flight Plan and competencies (Strive for Positive Results, Collaboration, Service-Oriented, Adaptability, Curiosity).
- Leads and manages security for special events for Owners and NetJets employees
- Manage the Armed Security Officer program through the Federal Air Marshall Service and TSA.
- Prepare an annual budget for security personnel.
- Maintain State of Ohio private security officer credentials.
- All other duties, as assigned.

- Leads and manages a team of professional security professionals that includes Security Officers.
- Previous law enforcement or corporate security experience preferred.
- Surveillance operations or emergency dispatch center management experience.
- Knowledge of security operations/procedures and analytical products.
- Supervisory experience including training, development, corrective action and scheduling.
- Access control experience.
- Situational awareness system or Analytical/DataMinr experience, preferred.
- Previous experience leading and managing internal and external investigations.
- Able to organize workload for effective implementation.
- Previous experience leading security for special events.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
- Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
- Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
- May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area.
- Must be willing to participate in NetJets’s pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background investigation.
- Able to be certified as an ASO with TSA and the Federal Air Marshal (FAM) program preferred.
Salary : $68,700 - $87,000
