Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operator to join our plastic recycling facility in Easton, PA. This role involves operating processing equipment, handling materials, and supporting daily production to ensure safe and efficient operations.
This is a hands-on position in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working around machinery.
Duties
- Operate equipment such as shredders, granulators, and conveyors
- Sort and process plastic materials into recycled regrind
- Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment
- Monitor production to ensure quality and consistency
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Skills / Experience (Preferred, Not Required)
- Forklift experience (certification a plus)
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or recycling environments
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with equipment
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting
- Strong attendance and reliability are required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
