Position Summary:
As CDL Driver for QR Transport, you are instrumental in ensuring the safe transport of food-grade soybean oil from our Valders, WI refinery to customers primarily in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas with occasional trips to Green Bay and Owen, WI. Responsibilities include filling/loading and unloading the oil along with compliance with DOT safety rules and regulations and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations. Reports To: Oil Distribution Manager
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (40-50 hrs/week)
Salary: $26.00 - $30.00/hour, based on experience

Essential Job Functions:
- Safely haul soybean oil (both crude and food-grade vegetable oil) from our Valders, WI site to our customers in the Milwaukee, Chicago, Green Bay and occasionally Owen, WI
- Fill/load and unload product; verify loads for accuracy and deliver them as scheduled
- Inspect truck and trailer/equipment daily; perform preventive and minor maintenance and document issues
- Comply with all DOT, FMCSA and QR Transport safety standards and food safety policies
- Maintain accurate logs, maps, and load paperwork
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- Valid DOT Federal Medical Card
- Comply with FMCSA drug-free workplace requirements, including new hire, random, for cause, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing
- Knowledge of traffic laws/DOT regulations
- Good customer service and communication skills; ability to communicate in English; both verbally and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Must be dependable and self-motivated
- Willingness to learn new technical skills including fleet management systems; familiarity with Motive a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, climb on top of tankers, sit, stand, walk, handle objects, reach above shoulder level, use fine finger movements and push/pull
- Ability to frequently carry/lift light to heavy loads of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally kneel
