Market Research Intern

The Market Research Intern is an ongoing part-time, onsite position, maximum of 29 hours per week. This internship, under the guidance of a Senior Vice President, will conduct market research to provide up-to-date overview of the current status of drug discovery and development, and pipeline in specific therapeutic areas.

The Job

• Conduct market research of pharma/biopharma to update approved drugs, discover companies in specific therapeutic areas to understand the current pipeline of the overall industry
• Work with Technical Operations (TechOps) to track the status of each drug development program within QPS
• May work with Marketing to develop scientific collateral in oligonucleotides therapeutics, gene therapy, cell therapy, and rare diseases
• Demonstrated ability or aptitude to learn QPS' services and drug discovery/development

• This job will be 100% QPS-office/facility based
  
  

Requirements

• Completion of at least 2 years into a Bachelor of Science degree in relevant scientific discipline that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job
• Must be a self-starter
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and "solution oriented"
