Position Title: Sales Representative - Customer-Facing
Wage: $60,000 - $80,000/year

Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new customer partners to secure consistent business
- Guide new customers through the approval process
- Submit DNB reports, credit applications, and references as needed
- Confirm invoice details, required documentation (POD, scale tickets, etc.), payment terms and ACH setup
- Create and document customer SOPs and accessorial sheets
- Collect necessary customer setup information including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), equipment and load specifics, shipper/receiver requirements and access agreements, DNU (Do Not Use) carrier lists and confirmed rates
- Build the first three customer loads in Ascend TMS, ensuring accurate pick-up and delivery times, equipment needs are confirmed and accessorial charges and customer-specific notes are included
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers during the onboarding phase, handling issues, accessorial needs, and accounting coordination
- Transition account to an Account Manager for ongoing support
Requirements for Sales Representative:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation a plus
- Familiarity with TMS platforms (Ascend preferred)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
