Installer Monroe, WI 53566 Posted: 03/27/2026 Job Number: 788157 Pay Rate: 18.00 Industry: Automotive Job Description Position Title: Installer Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 4:30am - 3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Installer opportunity at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Installer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Reads and comprehends blueprints - Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding from blueprints - Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together - Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds part to secure in position for welding - Sets up equipment and welds parts, GMAW MIG - Fabricate and design non-engineered parts Installer Requirements: - One year certificate from college or technical school in welding/fabrication or relevant experience - Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance - Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling, or bending positions - Ability to work arms above the head and ability to work from crawling or lying positions - Ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions as detailed in blueprints - Ability to understand and operate all safety equipment in the area - Proficient in adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form - Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense - Proficient in the computation of rate, ratio, and percent and its application in practical situations - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception - Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English - Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts and other written or verbal instructions presented in English monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
