Entry Level Data Center Technician (Training Provided) - Reno, NV

Responsibilities:
- Assist with pulling, terminating, dressing, and labeling CAT5e/CAT6 cable
- Learn to test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
- Support punch-down of voice and data jacks
- Help install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
- Work safely on ladders/lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
- Read and interpret basic blueprints/system layouts (training provided)
- Assist with installation of access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of low voltage or construction experience (entry level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Interest in structured cabling, telecom, or security systems
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
- Basic hand tools and PPE preferred (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites in the Reno area
- BICSI, Lift, or OSHA certifications are a plus (not required)
