Position Title: Coil Winder
Wage: $18/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Coil Winder for a company in Richmond, IL. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Coil Winder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Final assembly of the transformers and enclosures
- Attach welding terminals to coils through brazing or welding depending on work directions
- Complete any custom requests for orders
- Overhead crane operation
Coil Winder Requirements:
- Standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and moving about all shifts
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Occasional lifting, pulling, and pushing; will use the overhead crane as needed
- Excellent hand-eye coordination is needed
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Experience with hand and power tools preferred
- Previous experience with brazing or welding is a plus
