What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker position at QPCS?
Quality Patient Centered Services, LLC (QPCS) is seeking Licensed Social Workers to join our team for a full-time position at SCI Pine Grove in Indiana, PA.
This is a W-2 position offering comprehensive fringe benefits, including an attractive 401(k) and leave package.
Facility and Shift
SCI Phoenix - 1200 Mokychic Drive, Collegeville, PA 19426
Shift: 08:00 am to 4:00pm (1/2 hour unpaid)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Provide support services in areas such as conducting on-site monitoring reviews of long term living service providers to ensure that consumers are receiving appropriate care that meets State and Federal guidelines.
- Review written documentation and meet with consumers and stakeholders to evaluate the quality of the services being provided. They will monitor issues related to medical and financial eligibility of the consumer.
- Statewide travel required as necessary, including some overnights.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Social Work from an Accredited Social Work Program or equivalent education and experience.
- Basic computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Products.Minimum of one-year experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, at the independent level as recognized in the state licensed, whereby clinical supervision is not required.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
- A current, permanent, full and unrestricted license to practice social work independently in PA
- Maintains BLS for Healthcare Providers® certification through the American Heart Association® or the American Red Cross.
- Experience implementing and managing a new mental health treatment program and/or a Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model.(Preferred, not required)
- Experience in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting (preferred, not required).

- Although you may complete your extensive onboarding timely, there is a significant amount of work to be done to clear each candidate to work at Federal Facilities.
- The goal is to have you cleared and working within 30 days from the date of the job offer acceptance.
- The clearance process, once submitted for review, is beyond the control of QPCS.
