IMMEDIATE NEED: REGISTERED NURSES FOR INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION (1099) AT TORRANCE STATE HOSPITAL

Rates and Available shifts include:

• $75/hour - Weekend Warrior: evening/night shift (16hr) - 3PM-7AM (3 weekend/month)
• $65/hour - PRN evening/night shift - 3PM-11PM and/or 11PM-7AM
• $65/hour - Part time and full time hours - 3PM-11PM and/or 11PM-7AM
• Every other weekend is a MUST
• Every other holiday is a MUST

ORIENTATION IS A PAID 7 DAY TRAINING PROGRAM 0700-1530. Orientation is mandatory for policy/procedure and safety.

Description of Work:

As a registered nurse working via QPCS at the Torrance State Hospital, you will be working in any one of the settings listed below. You will be assisting by following a comprehensive treatment plan developed by a collaborative team. You will perform traditional nursing duties to include assessments, medication administration and treatments and other duties as assigned within your nursing scope of practice.

• (1) Civil
• (2) Forensic, through the Regional Forensic Psychiatric Center (RFPC)
• (3) Sexual Responsibility & Treatment Program (SRTP)

Qualifications:

• Must have an active and unencumbered Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Minimum Experience: Six months long-term or psych or acute care.

Legal Requirements:

• This contract comes under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, required submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
