Responsibilities
- Work closely with the operations and engineering teams to conduct regular inspection of products to meet customer requirement.
- Perform product dispositions, monitor statistical process controls, and update specifications.
- Single point of contact for driving quality excursions on the floor.
- Diagnose and resolve quality problems by following documented procedures.
- Able to perform datacollection / critical measurements (shear test , solder joint inspetion and wire pull).
- Review and respond to statistical process control charts.
- Coach, train, and assist factory operators in order to enhance productivity.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement relating to safety, quality, output, and cost.
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associates degree or above in a STEM discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 year relevant experience.
- Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Experience with semiconductor component cross-sectioning and use of SEM is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with operations, equipment support, and engineering in a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Possess an understanding of DoE, SPC, and other statistical tools/methods.
- This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment; Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods of time will be required.
