A major enterprise organization in Chicago is expanding its ServiceNow capability and is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Specialist to join their high‑performing technology team. This role plays a critical part in shaping and maturing the organization's Asset Management function, working across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and ITIL v4/v5 aligned processes. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to optimize asset lifecycle management, enhance governance, and ensure the organization maximizes value from its technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support ServiceNow IT Asset Management initiatives across the enterprise
- Configure, enhance, and maintain HAM, SAM, and ITAM modules within ServiceNow
- Manage and optimize contracts, content library, and asset workspace
- Oversee asset lifecycle processes including procurement, onboarding, maintenance, and retirement
- Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, security, and operations teams to maintain accurate asset data
- Drive continuous improvement across asset governance, compliance, and reporting
- Support audits, licensing reviews, and asset‑related risk assessments
- Provide subject‑matter expertise to internal teams and stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, including HAM and SAM
- Proven background working in enterprise‑scale environments
- Familiarity with contract management, content library, and asset workspace within ServiceNow
- Solid understanding of ITIL v4/v5 frameworks
- Ability to analyze complex asset data and produce actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams
- Experience improving asset processes, governance, and lifecycle management
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
