Senior Site Reliability Engineer

In this role you’ll be involved with modern technology platforms and operations, with the opportunity to be a significant contributor to the team in implementing sophisticated monitoring environments, which will span across the on-prem and cloud space.

What you’ll do

• Runbook creation with alerts and notifications to track metrics for organizational and operational monitoring, availability and scalability
• Optimization of services and implementation of resolutions with the team
• Automation and Incident response production
• Make an impact of continuous improvement for the team in research, retrospectives, and discussion/code reviews
• Mentoring junior team members
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of large-scale systems

Technical Skills

• 6 years’ experience in DevOps and/or SRE
• Cloud experience in AWS (preferred) or Azure
• Hands-on experience with anomaly detection analysis with alerts using Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus or Grafana.
• Scripting/Programming in languages such as Java, Python or similar
• Containerization orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Docker or Rancher
• CI/CD experience in tools like Jenkins
• Use or leveraging large language models to optimise automation SRE workflow
