The Collateral Services Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate processing, monitoring, and reporting of collateral, settlement, and stock‑loan activity within a regulated financial operations environment. This role supports the integrity of post‑trade processes by maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and communication across internal teams and external market participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and process collateral, settlement, and stock‑loan activity using internal proprietary systems, external banking platforms, and depository systems, ensuring all movements are captured and reconciled accurately.
- Analyze collateral, settlement, and stock‑loan data across multiple systems; prepare clear, professional reports and insights for internal management and external stakeholders.
- Engage daily with internal and external participants, including operational teams, clearing members, financial institutions, and market entities, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Review and interpret rules, agreements, policies, and procedures, performing scheduled audits to validate the accuracy and integrity of collateral records.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational policies, procedures, and training materials, including drafting, updating, and reviewing documentation to support process consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure full adherence to organizational policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong control environment.
- Support ad‑hoc initiatives and corporate projects assigned by management, contributing to process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiency.
