QNY Creative is hiring an Italian-speaking Social Media Manager (written and spoken) with a genuine love of Italian food products for an initial 3-month contract, with a clear path to full time based on performance and business needs. This is an in-office role based in Midtown Manhattan, with a December start.

You have agency experience and understand media and influencer relations, account management, content strategy, and always-on social. You are detail oriented, client facing, collaborative, highly organized, and focused on building engaged communities.
You live and breathe food content, regularly posting and consuming images and video. You are an avid home cook, on top of trends in ingredients, recipes, creators, and platforms, and you bring proactive ideas to the table.
You know how to uphold a consistent visual and written brand voice while tailoring content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
Role Description
This is a 3-month contract-to-full-time role responsible for:
- Social media strategy and execution
- Content planning, copywriting, and light design (Canva)
- Community management and in-app engagement
- Influencer and media coordination
- Reporting, optimization, and insights
Qualifications
- Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients and internal teams to define social strategies, goals, and content roadmaps, with a focus on Facebook and Instagram.
- Own multiple content calendars, including quarterly and annual planning and strategic reviews.
- Write copy and ideate stories and content series aligned to brand and content strategy, in Italian and English as needed.
- Define and track core social KPIs and report on growth and engagement.
- Curate, approve, schedule, and publish content across all client channels.
- Monitor trends, hashtags, platform updates, and best practices and turn them into actionable tests.
- Analyze performance data and recommend optimizations on content, cadence, and format.
- Support social strategy for sponsored and paid campaigns and apply learnings to future programs.
- Develop and execute organic and paid social campaigns.
- Build media and influencer strategies, including product seeding with micro creators.
- Interface with content creators and influencers and manage day-to-day communication.
- Manage daily community engagement. Respond to comments and DMs, escalate customer service issues, and engage with relevant pages and influencers.
- Drive fan, follower, and subscriber growth and manage social give-aways.
- Maintain tracking dashboards and build reporting. Knowledge of Google Data Studio is a plus.
- Ideate content packages and manage them from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fluent Italian speaker and writer, with strong English communication skills.
- 2 years of social media experience, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proven experience in social media marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Demonstrated success managing multi-channel brand accounts and communities.
- Experience developing and executing content strategies.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for social.
- Proficiency with social analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing trends.
- Proficiency in Canva. Familiarity with other creative tools is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple brands.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
