What are the responsibilities and job description for the ITM Teller- Bi-Lingual position at QNBT?
The ITM Teller is responsible for increasing Queensborough Customer Loyalty by ensuring consistent, positive, and valuable customer Interactive Teller Machine experiences. Under general supervision, but conforming to established policies and procedures, employee operates an Interactive Teller Machine and provides prompt, efficient, accurate transactions and STAR quality customer service. Employee is responsible for balancing each day’s transactions. Hours range from 8am-6pm M-F and Saturday 8am-1pm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Spanish Speaking Customers

Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner via video

Accepts ITM and branch deposits and cashes checks to customers’ accounts

Accepts ITM and branch loan payments and safe deposit box rent payments

Cross-sells the Bank’s services and products
-
Answers customer inquiries and gives balances

Balances transactions at end of day

Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Bank and complies with all banking laws, rules and regulations

Performs other duties as assigned

Research and verify account information
- Answer questions and solves problems for customers
Qualification Requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish

High school diploma or equivalent

A minimum of six months cash handling & customer service experience

Previous Teller experience strongly preferred

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to operate on-line teller terminal required

Successful completion of Teller training and other required compliance training

Professional demeanor and presentation

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
