QnA Tech is looking for a results-driven and highly motivated IT Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our growth initiatives in the technology sector in the Tampa, Florida area. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the IT landscape and a proven track record of securing new logos, forging strategic partnerships, and driving profitable revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging IT trends, potential new markets, and competitor activities to inform business strategy.
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Identify and target prospective clients and industry segments for IT solutions, software, and/or services.
- Lead Generation & Sales Execution:
- Proactively generate new qualified leads through cold calling, professional networking, industry events, and digital outreach.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and final contract closing for new clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations that clearly articulate the value of the company's IT offerings.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key decision-makers and C-level executives.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with vendors, resellers, and complementary businesses to expand market reach.
- Act as the client advocate to ensure smooth service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction, setting the stage for repeat business.
- Internal Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and operations teams to align sales efforts with product capabilities and overall business strategy.
- Maintain a disciplined and accurate sales pipeline using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: [4 ] years of proven experience in business development, IT sales, or a similar quota-carrying role, specifically within the IT industry (e.g., software, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services).
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technology solutions and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple business terms.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Skills: Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and closing deals. Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
