About the Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and early customer engagement.
You will be the first point of contact with potential customers – introducing Qlutch, starting conversations with decision-makers, and creating qualified opportunities for the sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, resilient, and excited to build a career in B2B SaaS sales.
What You’ll Do
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting (50–100 calls per day)
- Run targeted email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target industries
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of outbound activity
Qualification & Meeting Scheduling
- Engage prospects to understand needs and qualify fit
- Clearly communicate Qlutch’s value proposition
- Schedule qualified meetings for Sales Team
- Document conversations, insights, and next steps in the CRM
Pipeline & CRM Management
- Track all outreach and engagement in HubSpot (CRM)
- Maintain clean, accurate, and organized prospect data
- Follow structured outreach cadences and sequences
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in call reviews and coaching sessions
- Refine messaging based on feedback and results
- Stay informed on target industries and buyer personas
What Success Looks Like
This role is driven by consistent outbound activity and strong execution. Success comes from building daily habits, engaging the right prospects, and improving performance over time.
Typical activity and performance expectations include:
- High-volume outbound prospecting (50-100 calls per day), supported by email and LinkedIn outreach
- Generating 3-5 meaningful conversations per day with qualified prospects
- Scheduling 5-8 meetings per week (20-30 per month)
- Converting outreach into 12-20 qualified opportunities per month
- Maintaining accurate and complete activity tracking in the CRM (HubSpot)
Performance is measured by both activity and conversion rates across the funnel. We place a strong emphasis on thoughtful, targeted outreach – focusing on the right accounts and delivering quality conversations, not just volume.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $38,000 – $42,000 annually
- On –Target Earnings (OTE): $50,000 - $70,000 annually, based on performance
