Role Description This is a full-time remote Truck Driver role responsible for the safe and timely transport of pharmaceutical and cold chain products. Day-to-day tasks include operating company trucks, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following assigned routes and schedules, and ensuring secure loading and unloading of freight. The Truck Driver will maintain accurate logs, comply with all DOT regulations, and communicate with dispatch to report status updates, delays, or issues. The role requires careful handling of temperature-controlled shipments, adherence to company safety protocols, and professional interaction with customers and facility personnel. Drivers are expected to support QLS’s commitment to service quality, security, and on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Possession of CDL Class A license and proven Truck Driving experience
- Ability to safely operate and manage a Truck in various weather, traffic, and road conditions
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Experience with loading and Unloading freight, including securing and protecting cargo
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Strong time management, route planning, and communication skills
- Experience with temperature-controlled or cold chain freight is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
