QLM is a national skilled trades staffing provider seeking a high-performing sales leader with deep experience in commercial construction staffing. This is a full-time leadership role for someone who thrives on closing deals, building market share, and driving branch profitability.
The Branch Manager runs the market. You will be responsible for growing revenue, expanding accounts, winning new business, and building elite trade teams to support commercial construction projects. What You’ll Do:
- Drive revenue and sales growth by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
- Own the branch P&L by managing margins, headcount, and market performance.
- Conduct in-person sales calls and job site visits to win new business and strengthen contractor partnerships.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through proactive service calls and site evaluations.
- Lead negotiations, pricing strategies, proposals, and contracts.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial construction clients.
- Recruit, hire, and deploy skilled trades professionals to meet customer demand.
- Ensure job site safety and compliance through Job Site Analyses (JSA).
- Oversee weekly payroll and ensure accurate, timely compensation for all field employees.
- Act as the escalation point for client and employee issues, resolving challenges quickly to protect relationships and revenue.
- Coach, motivate, and lead teams to exceed performance goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of proven staffing sales and branch management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction industry experience.
- Strong trade knowledge in one or more of the following: Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC, Drywall, Welding, Carpentry.
- Proven success recruiting and selling using platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn.
- A true hunter mentality with the ability to close and grow accounts.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, competitive, and results-driven.
- Coachable, adaptable, and able to execute quickly in a fast-paced environment.
