We is seeking a reliable, organized and dedicated Medical Records Administrative Assistant to join Team QLI.

As an Administrative Assistant team member, you will enjoy working alongside your team as you play a critical role in protecting QLI’s Mission, Cultural Values, and Leadership Actions. The Administrative Assistant must have a positive and creative approach to be able to assist team members, residents, and families to reach their highest potential. This roles includes positive interactions, patience, problem solving, organization skills, a high level of customer service, development and maintenance of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, and management of essential medical supplies.


This is a highly impactful role where you will make a difference in peoples’ lives every day. You will have variety in your day as you collaborate with several departments at QLI.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • As a C.N.A., provide assistance with ADL’s or other recreational activities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team, residents, family      members, and vendors. 
  • Demonstrate empathy and a willingness to help teammates outside of your traditional job role.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all and provide a positive and consistent model for social skills programming. 
  • Manage medical supply inventory including ordering.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit medical records according to company policy as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Provide oversight and guidance in the development and maintenance of the medical records function for QLI in Point Click Care.
  • Maintain strict confidentially of resident client records. 
  • Complete MDS process following regulatory guidelines. MDS is a standardized assessment tool for post-acute care facilities.
  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and strive to constantly maintain      compliance.

Education and Certifications:

  • Certified to work in Nebraska as a nursing assistant. (required) We offer PAID training for the right candidate if you do not have your certification yet. 
  • Must be at least 18 years old (required)
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles (required)
  • Proficient in basic computer skills such as Excel, Outlook, and willingness to learn our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Vaccination Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season.
