Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques
- Install new appliances efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper connection of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and equipment repair knowledge to perform repairs safely and effectively
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify issues quickly and implement solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance on appliances and related equipment to prevent future failures
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during every interaction
- Operate company vehicle responsibly for daily routes while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair with a solid understanding of electrical work, refrigeration systems, plumbing, mechanical knowledge, and equipment troubleshooting
- Strong familiarity with schematics, ladder use, hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques
- Knowledge of appliance installation procedures and maintenance practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) processes is preferred
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly on daily routes
- Basic understanding of electrical experience and plumbing systems relevant to appliance repair
- Prior delivery driver experience is a plus but not required
