QinetiQ US is looking to hire a Sr. Quality Inspector to support production at our Franklin, MA facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections - focus on machined and assembled mechanical components
- Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance tests
- Capture all inspection data and supplier data packages in ETQ and Deltek
- Knowledge of test and inspection methodology
- Able to properly utilize standard inspection tools; calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc
- Support of QMS, AS9100D and CMMI processes
- Supports assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans
- Assure inspection equipment used is calibrated
- Minimum 3 Years experience
- Experience working on DOD electromechanical products
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess good technical communications and team building skills
- Must be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration management
- Ability to problem solve and critically think
- Good trigonometry/geometry math skills
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ANSI/ASME Y14.5
- Recent experience working in an AS9100 environment
- Recent experience operating a CMMI
The salary range for this role is $91,350- $116,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
