Test Lead – Java/Python, AccelQ & AI-Augmented QA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in Java/Python automation, AccelQ, and AI-augmented QA practices. The ideal candidate will lead quality engineering initiatives, drive automation strategy, and deliver scalable testing solutions across enterprise applications. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, intelligent test optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and/or Python.

• Build and manage low-code automation suites using AccelQ and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Leverage AI-powered QA tools for:

  • Automated test case generation

  • Intelligent defect clustering and analysis

  • Predictive analytics for test coverage optimization

  • AI-assisted exploratory testing insights

• Lead and mentor QA engineers through code reviews, best practices, and technical guidance.

• Perform root cause analysis and provide quality metrics/reporting to stakeholders.

• Integrate automated test suites with GitLab DevOps pipelines.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business teams to align on quality objectives.

• Create and maintain test plans, automation reports, and traceability matrices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in software testing and QA automation.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and/or Python.

• Extensive experience with AccelQ for functional and regression test automation.

• Experience with AI-based QA tools and intelligent testing solutions.

• Strong understanding of:

  • AI-driven test generation

  • Predictive defect analysis

  • Intelligent test optimization

  • AI-assisted exploratory testing

• Experience with Selenium, REST Assured, PyTest, or similar automation frameworks.

• Strong expertise in stubbing and mocking test data/services.

• Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design patterns.

• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Hands-on experience with API testing, UI automation, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.

• Familiarity with SQL, GitLab, and CI/CD practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Exposure to AWS cloud platforms and cloud-native testing.

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

• Experience with AI-driven DevOps or MLOps testing workflows.
