Job Title: Hand Solder – Assembler
Department: Production
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Reports to: Production Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies, procedures
- Follow Control Plan to comply all requirements
- Perform precision hand soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Solder and remove/repair fine-pitch components, surface mount devices (SMD), and shield components where accuracy is critical.
- Use soldering tools microscopes, hot air tools and/or machines.
- Inspect solder joints for quality, bridges, cold joints, and proper wetting per IPC acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation following ESD and safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 5 years experience in hand soldering electronic components on PCBs.
- Proven ability to solder fine-pitch components and tight-tolerance assemblies.
- Experience soldering metal shields or similar components requiring controlled heat and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and steady hand for precision work.
- Ability to work under microscope or magnification equipment.
- Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 certification.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly environment.
- Familiarity with SMT and through-hole rework techniques.
- Experience with RF or high-density circuit boards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
