Role Description The Program Analyst, Senior (Public Relations) for PM IS&A is a full-time, on-site role based in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing public relations and communication activities that support program objectives and stakeholder engagement for PM IS&A. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing communication plans, drafting press releases and public affairs materials, preparing briefings and presentations, and coordinating content for internal and external audiences. The role also involves maintaining relationships with military, government, and industry stakeholders; supporting events, meetings, and outreach activities; and ensuring all communications align with applicable policies, guidance, and branding requirements. The Program Analyst, Senior may contribute to strategic planning, performance reporting, and documentation that enhances transparency and understanding of program goals and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong public relations, communications, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience preparing press releases, briefings, and public affairs materials.
- Ability to develop and execute communication plans, including messaging, content coordination, and event or outreach support.
- Proficient in research, analysis, and documentation to support program reporting, strategic recommendations, and information sharing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor content for technical, military, and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated organizational and project coordination skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience working with or supporting Department of Defense or US Army programs is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Requires Top Secret/SCI security clearance
