What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Analyst position at QED Systems LLC?
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Finance Analyst, to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is contingent upon award.
Duties:
- Analyzes, advises, and provides technical assistance in preparing budgets.
- Reviews proposed financial plans for completeness, accuracy, conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Provides programmatic and financial support to include: preparation of technical and management analyses, assessments, and reports IAW Scientific and Technical Reports capturing, converting, editing, updating, maintaining, sustaining and managing, storing, distributing, and disposing of technical and financial documents; and development, management, and maintenance of databases and records.
- Provides manpower support to include reconciliation of Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) mapping, provide input to manpower concept plans, and provide input to manpower-centric tasks.
- Provide routine financial functions to include, but not limited to, preparing and receiving financial documents, providing input for programming requirements, review of status of funds, and review of labor reports for affordability issues.
- Provide subject matter expertise in financial execution for all of DoD and Non-Title 10 Appropriations. This includes but is not limited to the following: Foreign Military Sales (FMS) funding, Operations and Maintenance (OMA), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), Other Procurement (OPA) and Working Capital Funds.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI eligibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- At least five (5) years of related experience required.
- An additional three (3) years may substitute for the degree requirement.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

- Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
