What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Prep position at QED Hospitality?
Job Description:
Your job is to provide support to the bar teams to keep all operations running smoothly. Our bars also operate as a service bar for our restaurants, so keen time-management skills and focus are required. Specific expectations of the bar prep include juicing and cutting fruits and vegetables, cocktail batching, and making syrups. In addition, maintain a clean station and adhere to all kitchen maintenance and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
Required: Must be 18 years of age or older, no experience necessary. We will train! Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position (lifting at least 50lbs, standing for up to 8 hours, etc). Must be able to work as a team and get along well with guests and coworkers. Must be able to uphold company standards relating to appearance and dress.
Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the restaurant. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a manual dexterity and coordination to operate restaurant and office equipment and machines. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
