Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Vegetation Field Coordinator based in the Midwest Region. The Field Coordinator will supervise and manage vegetation control activities at solar sites to ensure proper asset maintenance. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating maintenance teams, inspecting and assessing vegetation health, creating reports on site conditions, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The Coordinator will also troubleshoot issues and communicate with key stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience in vegetation management, landscaping, or groundskeeping, including knowledge of plant species, growth cycles, and pest control.
- Familiarity with solar energy operations, including basic understanding of panel layouts, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of vegetation maintenance.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in standard reporting tools, basic computer skills, and the ability to document site visits and maintenance activities.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varied weather conditions and lift or move equipment as necessary.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willingness to travel nationally to different project sites.
- Experience in environmental compliance or certifications in vegetation management practices is a plus.
