We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers, guiding them through their purchasing decisions while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Duties
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, providing detailed information about strains, effects, and usage.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions and manage cash handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including merchandising and stocking products to ensure optimal presentation.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on various cannabis products.
- Upsell additional products based on customer preferences and needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling processes is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is highly desirable.
