Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews to execute project tasks according to plans, schedules, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of milestones
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide team activities accurately
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid for scheduling, tracking progress, and resource allocation
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily logs, and incident reports
- Use tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing and ensure proper use of construction site equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in heavy civil or infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and supervise multiple crews
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or Primavera for scheduling and project tracking
- Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contracts management
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and experience implementing safety protocols on-site
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques including critical path method (CPM) using Primavera P6 or similar tools
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities including quality control, site logistics planning, and equipment operation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-hour training or equivalent; experience with construction management software is preferred
