Overview
Seeking qualified and experienced candidates. Will be responsible for operating and maintaining the appearance of a company vehicle. Must be dedicated, willing to learn, and wanting to build a career while achieving the highest level of safety standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintaining safe and legal operations of company vehicles at all times.
- Obeying posted speed limits and weight limits.
- Perform pre-trip inspection before operating commercial or company vehicles.
- Practicing good housekeeping and maintaining the appearance of the trucks inside and out.
- Maintaining good communication skills when dealing with internal and external teams
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures at all times.
- Wearing proper PPE equipment when necessary.
Ability, Skills& Knowledge
- Prior driving experience (1-2 years minimum)
- Maintain company-approved motor vehicle record.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, fill out logbooks, timecards, etc.
- High school education or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding
- tasks.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must have class A driver’s license
- No manual restriction on license
- Experience hauling material in an end dump (End Dump only)
