Marketing Communication & Visualization Associate

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly visual and detail-oriented professional to support customer-facing pitch development, marketing communications, and event coordination within the Grid & Energy Services (G&ES) marketing function. This role will play a vital role in creating professional-grade presentation materials, supporting executive-level events such as CEO roundtables and exhibitions, and producing playbooks and summaries from internal and external workshops. The ideal candidate has a strong design eye, excellent slide creation skills, and the ability to coordinate event logistics and communications with precision and creativity.

This position will be based out of Irvine, San Francisco or Santa Clara, CA

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality pitch decks and marketing collateral for customer-facing engagements with utilities, data centers, and commercial/industrial energy users
• Capture key outcomes and develop post-event playbooks and strategic summaries from internal and external workshops
• Provide operational and creative support for G&ES-led events, including CEO Roundtables, Advisory Board meetings, exhibitions, and small-format customer engagements
• Collaborate closely with the marketing director and GTM teams to ensure effective storytelling, consistent branding, and compelling visual design
• Coordinate with vendors, creative agencies, and internal stakeholders to prepare logistics, materials, and communications for events
• Support G&ES’ PR, social media, and content efforts by drafting or formatting visual content for public-facing channels
• Maintain a clean, consistent, and professional visual identity across marketing assets and presentations
• Assist with internal document production for business development, marketing reporting, and external distribution
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, visual communications, creative services, or event coordination roles
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and strong visual design sensibility; ability to create polished, brand-aligned slides
• Demonstrated ability to support planning and execution of executive-level events and workshops
• Clear written communication skills and ability to produce business-ready documents
• Highly organized and proactive with attention to detail and time management
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with UI/UX tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma) and presentation/visual collaboration platforms (e.g., Miro, Notion)
• Experience working with agencies or vendors to support marketing deliverables
• Prior experience in energy, cleantech, or enterprise B2B sectors preferred
• Background in management consulting or strategic investment roles highly valued

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
