Summary

ThePDMechanic’s mainpriority is pile driving equipment andis responsible for inspecting, reporting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company ownedandrented (where applicable)Pile Driverson the jobsite.This position reports to theMangerofEquipmentor another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is locatedProject siteand working hours are Monday through Friday, from7:00am to3:30pm or8:00am to4:30pm local time,unless otherwise specified by site.Thisposition is expected to travel upto75%.

Essential Job Function &responsibilities

• Setting up Pile driversfor operationwithin tolerancesprovided bymanufacturer.Breaking down Pile driversinto transportmode as required.
• Daily inspection observation, and reporting of all site pile driving machines.
• Regularly scheduledpreventative maintenance of pile driving machinesfollowing manufacturer specific instructions as well as companyprocedures.
• Recording, reporting and scheduling maintenance as well as repairs for pile driving equipmentwith Equipment Coordinator along with PileSuperintendent.
• Communicatingissues with the pile driving operator,pile superintendent, and EquipmentCoordinatoras well as some 3rdparty vendor interactions.
• Diagnosingissues related to fuel, electrical, hydraulic, andmechanicalissues.
• Ensuring that all equipment is in safe operating condition andremoving from service when it is not.
• Adhere to all companypolicies and proceduresincluding site specific policies.
• Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum2Years as apile driver/ heavyequipment mechanicwith experience working on both diesel and gasoline engines.
• Experience with hydraulic repair and diagnostics.
• Must have field experience.
  
  

Certifications/Licenses

• ValidDriversLicense,Mustpass and clear MVR,(Class B License preferred, but not required)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dieseland gasenginerepair anddiagnostics.
• Experience withSmall enginerepair.
• Ability to read plans andschematics
• Experience with machine automation (GNSS Automation)
