POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Qcells Service Solutions(‘QSS’) is a residential solar asset operation and maintenance service company powered by Qcells. QSS set up a design standard and installation guide for EnFin TPO and provide a specialized Quality assurance review service. QSS monitors all assets proactively to resolve any issue, so that maximizes homeowner experience and capital investor’s value.
We are looking for a Sr. Manager of QA/QC to lead the quality assurance and quality control efforts for our residential solar financed asset portfolio. In this role, you will oversee the validation, inspection, and ongoing monitoring of solar assets to ensure they meet operational, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential solar installation quality and will work closely with EnFin and other QSS teams. This position will be based out of Irvine, CA, Houston, TX or Remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards for residential solar assets.
• Lead a team of quality control inspectors and analysts to perform regular site inspections, technical audits, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with asset operations, engineering, and financing teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor asset performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and oversee troubleshooting and resolution efforts.
• Manage coordination of inspections during asset installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation phases.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure adherence to QA/QC protocols.
• Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate quality metrics and insights to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies in solar asset management and quality assurance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management, or related field
• 8 years of experience in QA/QC, asset management, or related roles within the renewable energy or solar industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential solar systems, electrical components, and system performance metrics.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and performance data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., UL, IEEE, NEC) and quality assurance methodologies.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
