Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Senior Actuarial Analyst Location: Sydney Type: Permanent, full time Hybrid role, Happy to talk flexible working The opportunity There is an exciting chance for an experienced actuarial analyst looking to grow their career with QBE in the role of Senior Actuarial Analyst with a key focus on providing actuarial valuation and portfolio support for our LMI product. As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind. Your new role Support end to end quarterly reserving process. Support statutory reporting deliverables including APRA submissions, Actuarial Valuation Report and Financial Condition Report. Support IFRS 17 process including the General Measurement Model updates. Support other ad hoc analysis, including pricing model and capital model review. Identify opportunities to improve existing process. Provide guidance to junior analysts. Build relationships with internal stakeholders. About you Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or progress in General Insurance Part IIIs Industry experience in General Insurance or banking is essential. Strong MS Excel, SAS and R programming skills. Ability to communicate analysis and findings to a wide range of stakeholders.
