Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Barista located in Harvey, LA. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, maintaining equipment and cleanliness, and following standardized recipes. Additional tasks include engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders accurately, handling payments, and keeping the café organized and well-stocked.
Qualifications
- Barista and Food Preparation experience, with knowledge of preparing a variety of coffee, espresso, and tea beverages
- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to enhance the customer experience
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform light physical tasks as part of daily operations
