Qantas Loyalty has established a fit-for-purpose, multi-disciplinary team to help accelerate the Group’s ambitious growth and innovation agenda; partnering with business units to validate, define and deliver the next wave of core, adjacent and disruptive plays. The Iteration Manager / Delivery Manager will serve, coach and challenge the squad in order to build a high-performance culture that delivers great outcomes for Qantas and its customers. Primary Responsibilities: Be responsible for initiatives from discovery through to delivery, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies and best practice. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the development teams, fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, learning, and knowledge sharing. Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and delivery efficiency. Work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to define iteration goals, scope, and priorities. You will facilitate stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth execution of iteration deliverables while providing clear and regular status updates to stakeholders. Identify, address and/or escalate pre-discovery, discovery and delivery impediments for the Tribe, and coordinate the development of solution options, delivery plans. Monitor and manage team capacity and workload, ensuring resource capacity is aligned to prioritised demand. Maintain a project repository of historical and current project information. Develop or support senior colleagues to maintain project plans and roadmaps The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with the team, internal customers, stakeholders and integration teams to ensure alignment between customer, commercial and technology. You’ll have: 5 years’ experience in an agile environment and 3 years as an agile Iteration Manager / Scrum Master Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deliverables. Strong background in software development and a track record of delivering digital projects in the context of multi-functional teams. Previously accountable for the squad/team cadence and maturity Experience in guiding and coaching multiple teams in the adoption of the Agile mind-sets, behaviours, and best practices to facilitate their transition to high performing teams while maintaining a strong delivery focus Experience in effectively managing and communicating complex risks, issues and dependencies , managing impediments and upskilling the team’s ability to solve issues on their own Ability to create effective team environments for people to innovate and learn Excellent stakeholder management skills across both business and technical functions up to and including C-level executives Prior experience with, and expertise using, collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document and manage stories and other documentation Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or other agile certifications Why Qantas?
