Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of helicopter projects from induction to delivery. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate aircraft induction, work scope development, and project scheduling.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status, cost estimates, and delivery timelines.
- Manage work orders, parts procurement, and labor allocation in collaboration with maintenance and inspection teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and review project documentation, cost tracking, and final invoicing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in aviation maintenance, preferably within an FAA Part 145 repair station.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, particularly those related to helicopter maintenance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A&P Certificate preferred but not required.
- PMP or other project management certification a plus.
