QA Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This on-site, contract role plays a key part in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, invoicing, reconciliations, and supporting the order-to-cash process. The position works closely with the Finance and Sales teams and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
- Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions
- Enter daily invoices and financial transactions into the ERP/accounting system
- Assist the Sales team with the order-to-cash process
- Prepare bank deposits and monthly credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries professionally
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Finance Department
- Back up Sales Coordinator duties as needed, including answering multi-line phones
- Perform general office tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- or Associate degree with relevant accounting experience
- 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably including AR/AP
- Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and ERP systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Manufacturing or furniture industry experience is a plus
