Our Team
The Fraud Intelligence team at Q2 is responsible for helping our customers take a proactive stance against fraud and managing the risks of their business. We build and enhance products that evolve with the ever-changing fraud landscape, delivering tangible value for our customers. Our solutions enable them to focus more of their time and energy on their mission: best serving their customers and communities.
The Role
As a Data Analyst on the team, you will develop a deep understanding of our customers and the fraud challenges they face. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Fraud Response partners, you will identify and help close gaps in our fraud products. This is a dynamic role, sitting at the cross-section of our customers, the business, and product development. You’ll be responsible for tracking trends in our fraud cases and advising prioritization in product enhancements. Then, you’ll take the next step and work with our internal tooling and engineering teams to build the needed protection for our customers.

You are more likely to excel in the role if you:
- Enjoy autonomy in your work and feel a sense of ownership in the team’s goals. You work quickly but with the big picture in mind.
- Have empathy for end users and a desire to measure your work by both the customer value and product quality.
- Have enthusiasm for the field and professional development.
- 5 years of experience as an analyst (or similar)
- Experience using AI tools in your work
- Statistical background and ability to draw sound conclusions from complex data
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate findings with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with python, SQL, or other programming languages
- Experience communicating with customers
- Familiarity with the financial industry, banking, and fraud prevention products
