SUMMARY
Q2 is seeking an Sales Advancement (RFP) Specialist to join our team. This individual is responsible for the ownership and completion of Request for Proposal/Request for Information (RFP/RFI) responses, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ), and other sales cycle deliverables. These functions are mission-critical to the company's overall sales goals. The dedicated focus of the RFP team in these areas increases Q2's ability to compete and win in the market. We are seeking a qualified individual who thrives in a dynamic and demanding environment, is exceptionally detail-oriented, and understands the key stages and deliverables within sales cycles.

Q2 is seeking an Sales Advancement (RFP) Specialist to join our team. This individual is responsible for the ownership and completion of Request for Proposal/Request for Information (RFP/RFI) responses, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ), and other sales cycle deliverables. We are seeking a qualified individual who thrives in a dynamic and demanding environment, is exceptionally detail-oriented, and understands the key stages and deliverables within sales cycles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Author and collaborate on RFP, RFI, and DDQ response documents
- Responsible for new content creation, content updates, proposal editing, formatting, proofreading, peer review, and process management
- Maintain and contribute content to the RFP database and knowledge management systems
- Manage multiple concurrent projects in various phases to deadlines
- Manage the overall production process and delivery to the Sales and Relationship Management teams throughout the cycles of net new sales, renewals, and cross-sales
- Work collaboratively within the RFP team and with the external and internal Sales teams
- Perform independent research and collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance proposal responses and RFP database content
- Produce high quality on-time deliverables that conform to Q2 documentation standards
- Ensure adherence to security, confidentiality, and privacy policies
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- 2 years of relevant industry experience in banking, lending, fintech, financial services, software sales, or RFP management, with a bachelors degree
- Knowledge of Q2 company, solutions and services highly valued
- Experience working with or for banks, credit unions, lending, leasing, financial technology or financial services companies highly valued
- Proficiency with technical content writing, researching, editing, proofreading, tone and presentation
- Experience supporting sales
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent writing projects across project lifecycle phases with knowledge of project management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team of writers, subject matter experts, and sales team members to complete technical writing projects
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholder groups across a SaaS enterprise organization
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office mandatory (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Preferred experience with RFP database systems (RocketDocs PMAPS, Loopio or equivalent), knowledge base systems (Confluence, Seismic or equivalent) and Salesforce
- Travel may be required
