Basic Employee Responsibilities

Position Specific Responsibilities

This role does a wide variety of general tasks. Generally, the maintenance team looks after areas such as landscaping/snow removal, performs light mechanical maintenance, handles shop materials, basic janitorial tasks and other related duties. The team typically works Monday to Friday, 12-10pm, but now and then, some overtime may be required.
Required Minimum Qualifications

- Handle preventative maintenance on equipment
- Mechanical troubleshooting on a variety of equipment/machinery
- Assist with ongoing production equipment issues
- Experience with blueprints, equipment manuals, specifications and equipment trouble shooting.
- Hands on position working with tools to accomplish repairs.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skill.
- Excellent communications skills.
- A team player with the ability to work well with internal and external teams.
- Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
- Assist with installation of all signage and safety equipment.
- Performs other assignments as required.

- Routine duties include the identification, troubleshooting and repair of any irregular conditions on equipment, timely follow-up on work orders, performing preventative maintenance.
- Minor electrical and plumbing repairs and small projects throughout.
Physical Demands

- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Working in all conditions outdoors and working in manufacturing shop environment where there may be loud noises and temperature variations
- Ability to operate small equipment
- Standing and walking for long periods
- Pushing, pulling, bending, some twisting in the movement of goods and material
- Awkward positions
