Job Description:

Experience in application development in legacy technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, IDEAL Datacom, RPG, ASM, MQ (at least some of the technologies, if not all)


Key responsibilities:

  • Experience in application development in legacy technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, IDEAL Datacom, RPG, ASM, MQ (at least some of the technologies, if not all)
  • Participate in code migration and data transformation efforts as part of rehosting
  • Collaborate with architects and cloud teams to support GCP-based modernization
  • Support batch job execution, console monitoring, and production control
  • Understanding of interfacing systems, ongoing projects
  • Provide critical inputs to the migration teams and guidance during the course of migration
