What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Q Korean bbq & Revolving Sushi?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and assist guests with any questions or concerns regarding the menu
- Take reservations and manage the seating chart
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries over the phone
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Use Aloha POS system to manage guest orders and payments
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional guest relations
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
