PZSE Structural Engineers is seeking a skilled PV Structural Reviewer / Designer to support a growing portfolio of solar projects. This role is a strong opportunity for someone with real-world solar experience who wants to work on technically challenging projects involving structural review, rooftop ballasted and ground-mount design, and residential PV electrical plan review. We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented professional who can contribute quickly and grow with a specialized engineering-focused team.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- review client-submitted solar projects for structural issues and coordination
- design rooftop ballasted and ground-mount PV systems
- use PZSE proprietary software to produce structural and ballast design outputs
- perform high-level residential PV electrical plan review for coordination and obvious design/code issues
What we want:
- solar PV design/review experience
- structural experience with rooftop and/or ground-mount systems
- ability to review residential PV electrical plans at a practical level
- strong technical judgment and communication skills
Preferred:
- EPC, installer, solar design firm, or engineering consulting background
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Aurora, HelioScope, or similar tools
- NABCEP coursework/certification or other solar-specific training
PE not required.
